SUPER COMPRESSOR FLUIDS®

Applications

Super Compressor Fluids are recommended for cooling and lubricating continuously operating rotary screw and vane compressors which operate at high discharge temperatures.

Super compressor Fluids, grades 68 and 100, may be used in reciprocating compressors.  However, for extended life in units operating high discharge temperatures (greater than 150˚C), we recommend the use of RCF-1000 Reciprocating Compressor Fluids.

Super Compressor Fluids are compatible with all compressor oils except polyclycols, and all standard seal and hose materials/

Super Compressor Fluids are recommended for compressors handling eight inert gases other than air.  They include:

• Nitrogen
• Hydrogen
• Carbon dioxide
• Carbon monoxide
• Argon
• Neon
• Helium
• Blast furnace gas

Super Compressor Fluids should not be used to compress wet or sour hydrocarbon gases.  For these applications, Compressor Oils 320C, RP 268 or RP 460 are recommended.
